Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst Epic to design, build, test, deploy, and support Epic applications that optimize clinical and operational workflows. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of system analysis and support in healthcare; 10+ years acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows; familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, and agile/waterfall.
• Current or preferred Epic certification and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, map workflows, and design Epic builds.
• Create specifications, logs, and design documents for traceability and change control.
• Conduct gap analyses for upgrades, regulatory changes, or new initiatives.
• Manage small projects related to system implementations and upgrades.
• Lead project teams in both waterfall and agile approaches.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations and processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
• Configure records, profiles, security, and workflows aligned to design.
• Develop unit, integration, and UAT test plans; log defects and provide evidence.
• Validate interfaces, reporting, and downstream workflows; coordinate releases.
• Provide go-live support and post-live hypercare; ensure SLAs are met.
• Offer advanced support for Epic and other applications; collaborate with IT and clinical teams.
