Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Solution Architect for Epic STARS to lead the design, optimization, and strategic direction of Epic-based solutions that support Medicare Star Ratings, HEDIS, and NCQA measures. This role bridges clinical quality strategy with technical Epic build, ensuring quality workflows, data capture, and reporting support Star initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a health/IT field.
5+ years with Epic including Healthy Planet, Clarity/Caboodle, Reporting Workbench or SlicerDicer.
Experience supporting Medicare Star Ratings, HEDIS, NCQA quality measures.
Strong understanding of value-based care and population health operations.
Epic certification(s) in Healthy Planet or Reporting Cadence, ClinDoc or related modules preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect and design Epic Healthy Planet, Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, and SlicerDicer solutions for Star Ratings, HEDIS, NCQA tracking and gap closure.
Translate quality measure specifications into Epic build requirements.
Design scalable data models and reporting for auditable Star Ratings performance.
Own end-to-end technical roadmap for Epic STARS builds (registries, BPAs, health maintenance).
Lead or oversee Epic build activities for Star Ratings measures and dashboards.
Ensure interoperability with external quality reporting platforms using FHIR/HL7 and validate quality measure logic.
