Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Lead Director, Solutions Architect to drive the Architecture, design, and delivery of Epic solutions for STARS reporting, care coordination, and Healthy Planet. You will bridge Epic technical expertise with value-based care, translating regulatory and business needs into scalable architecture while guiding enterprise initiatives.

You will lead teams, align roadmaps with governance, and partner with quality, risk, and payer stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient data flows

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of healthcare IT experience, with 5+ years focused on Epic applications.
Hands-on or architectural experience with Epic Healthy Planet, Care Everywhere, and population health modules.
Understanding CMS STARS, HEDIS, and quality/risk adjustment reporting requirements.
Experience in Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and reporting tools; leading enterprise Epic initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end solutions architecture for Epic Healthy Planet and STARS reporting.
Design scalable data models connecting Epic modules to quality reporting needs.
Act as technical authority for Epic population health tools and data sources.
Partner with architecture and data teams to align with governance and interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7).
Lead build vs. buy decisions for third-party STARS/quality vendor integrations.
Lead and mentor a team of Epic analysts, architects, or engineers.
