Job summary

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department is seeking an Epic Solutions Architect 2 - Patient Access to join our team in Miami, FL. This full-time role designs, develops, and deploys clinical applications, guiding integrations and migrations with senior technical leadership.

You will mentor analysts, lead complex projects, and optimize workflows to improve patient access and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and Epic Certification with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Engineer new or optimize existing workflows across clinical applications and operational areas.
• Lead projects with high complexity and large impact.
• Apply project management methodologies for software development and maintenance.
• Serve as independent project lead or mentor for team members on assigned projects.
• Analyze current systems to recommend changes that improve operational workflows and patient experience.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to develop or improve processes, policies, and procedures.
