Job summary

The University of Miami Information Technology & Systems Department is seeking an Epic Solutions Architect (Cardiology) to lead design, development and deployment of clinical Epic solutions. This full-time role requires independent project leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and alignment with patient care workflows.

You will define system solutions, manage vendor relationships, and mentor analysts while advancing cardiology workflows and integration across Epic modules to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare IT with cardiology focus.
• Epic Cupid Certification.
• Certified Imaging Informatics Professional preferred.
• Certified PACS Associate (CPA) or CPSA from PARCA preferred.
• Operational, project management, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with cardiology workflows and Epic integration points.

Responsibilities

• Engineers new workflows or optimize cardiology workflows across clinical apps.
• Leads projects with high complexity and manages project plans.
• Mentors senior analysts and coordinates with vendors/partners.
• Performs proactive analysis to improve operations and patient experience.
• Supports third-party cardiology systems integration and configuration.
• Participates in committees and on-call rotations as needed.
