Job summary

BASS Medical Group is seeking a skilled Medical Front/Back Office professional in California. You will perform administrative tasks at patient check out, coordinate care, and support providers to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role requires EMR experience (EPIC preferred), strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (AAM/CMA); CA/National preferred.
• Two to three years medical front and back office experience preferred.
• One year EMR experience preferred; EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and direct patient care tasks at check out.
• Obtain lab/test results from outside labs and send standing orders.
• Process prior authorizations for various tests and MD orders.
• Contact insurance companies to file appeals or obtain verbal authorizations.
• Coordinate patient care with providers and arrange referrals.
• Educate patients about medical processes and procedures.
