Job summary

Jobtailor in Moraine, Ohio is seeking an experienced Epic Revenue Cycle Specialist to serve as the primary contact for Epic-related issues, coordinate tickets, and work with the Digital Health & Technology team. The role requires 3-5 years of Epic experience, Epic certifications, and a solid understanding of billing workflows.

You'll collaborate with IT, compliance, finance, and clinical teams to optimize processes and support upgrades.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Epic experience and certifications preferred.
Experience submitting and managing system tickets in healthcare preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare billing, registration, scheduling, and denial management.
Proficiency with Epic revenue cycle modules and system navigation.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for Epic Revenue Cycle issues and improvements.
Submit and manage Epic support tickets with Digital Health & Technology teams.
Track request progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with leaders and end-users to identify workflow gaps and Epic solutions.
Lead or support Epic configuration, testing, validation, and go-live implementation.
Monitor system performance and data trends.
Assess impact of upgrades and best practices on Revenue Cycle ops.
Participate in governance and change-control processes.
Develop and maintain workflow, configuration, and enhancement docs.
Provide education or training on system changes.
Partner with IT, compliance, finance, clinical teams, and others.
Participate in special projects and cross-functional groups.
Assist with new Epic modules and system integrations.
Provide reports, data extracts, and analyses for audits and leadership.
Support downtime and recovery planning and collaboration with training/quality.
