Job summary

Montefiore Health System seeks a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst to optimize billing processes and ensure compliant revenue capture. You will partner with Revenue Cycle Operations, IT, and clinical departments to implement Epic system builds and resolve denials while improving operational efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years in healthcare revenue cycle or related fields, with strong analytical skills and experience in Epic modules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Revenue Cycle, Healthcare Information Systems, or related operations.
• Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle applications strongly preferred.
• Experience with hospital and physician billing workflows preferred.
• Experience performing data analysis, testing, and process improvements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Epic billing system updates, testing, and maintenance.
• Analyze charging, coding, billing, denials, and reimbursement issues.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Ops, IT, and clinical departments to resolve system issues.
• Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Design, test, and implement system build changes with Epic analysts.
• Monitor system performance and identify issues impacting revenue capture and compliance.
• Investigate denials and variances to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Develop test plans for upgrades and regulatory changes; validate results.
