Montefiore Health System in New York seeks a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst to optimize billing operations and ensure compliant practices across the organization. You will liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to analyze charging, coding, and denial issues and implement Epic system build changes and workflow improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Support the implementation, testing, and maintenance of Epic billing system updates and enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis of charging, coding, billing, claim edits, denials, and reimbursement issues.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Operations, Patient Financial Services, Health Information Management, Compliance, Clinical Departments, and IT teams to resolve system issues.
• Analyze revenue cycle workflows and suggest process improvements for efficiency and billing accuracy.
• Work with Epic analysts to design, test, and implement system build changes.
• Monitor billing system performance and identify issues impacting revenue capture or regulatory compliance.
• Investigate denials and payment variances to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades and regulatory changes.
• Validate system functionality after updates.
• Assist in maintaining revenue cycle policies and documentation.
