Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst to support and enhance Epic billing workflows across the organization. This role collaborates with Revenue Cycle Operations, IT, and clinical departments to resolve denials, improve billing accuracy, and drive revenue integrity.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of Revenue Cycle experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in Revenue Cycle or related healthcare operations.
• Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle applications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, testing, and maintenance of Epic billing system updates.
• Perform root cause analyses of charging, coding, billing, denial issues.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, IT, and departments to resolve system issues.
• Analyze revenue cycle workflows and recommend process improvements.
• Design, test, and implement system build modifications with Epic teams.
• Monitor system performance and identify issues impacting revenue capture.
