Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Epic analyst with hands-on experience across the professional billing lifecycle, including Resolute Professional Billing and Remittance. The role involves troubleshooting claim failures and remittance issues end to end, while collaborating with revenue cycle stakeholders to optimize processes.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in ERA setup, claim edits, payer integrations, and system-wide billing optimization to support accurate, efficient revenue cycle

Qualifications

• Epic Certification (Resolute Professional Billing strongly preferred).
• 3+ years of Epic analyst, healthcare IT, or application support experience.
• Strong understanding of professional billing workflows and revenue cycle operations.
• Experience supporting paper and electronic claims processing.
• Experience with electronic remittance advice (ERA) setup, testing, and optimization.
• Knowledge of claim edits, claim error resolution, and reimbursement workflows.
• Understanding of upstream and downstream system integrations impacting claims and remittance processing.
• Experience with application build, workflow analysis, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
• Epic Resolute Professional Billing Certification.
• Professional billing office experience.
• Experience with clearinghouses, payer integrations, and claims transmission workflows.
• Knowledge of payment posting, denial management, and remittance processes.
• Experience supporting systems outside of Epic.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Revenue cycle optimization or implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end professional billing lifecycle and troubleshoot remittance issues.
• Identify root causes across multiple systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle stakeholders to optimize processing.
• Ensure claims and remittances are accurate and efficiently processed from start to finish.
