Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Application Analyst to support Epic Radiant and Lumens across the clinical imaging environment. The role collaborates with imaging leadership, providers, and IT teams to ensure post‑go‑live stabilization, quarterly upgrades, and continuous improvement of workflows.

Responsibilities include designing and configuring applications, analyzing workflows, and ensuring quality through testing and validation activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Health Informatics, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years supporting Epic applications or healthcare IT systems.
  • Experience with application build, config, implementation, maintenance, and optimization in healthcare.
  • Experience with workflow analysis and collaboration with clinical/operational stakeholders.
  • Experience with integrated testing, regression testing, UAT, and validation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, configure, test, maintain, and optimize Epic Radiant and Lumens applications.
  • Analyze clinical and operational workflows to propose effective solutions.
  • Serve as liaison among imaging operations, IT, users, and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Support build, configuration, and post‑go‑live stabilization activities.
  • Participate in testing, upgrades, and ongoing workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Coordinate testing across applications and support end‑user validation efforts.
