Job summary

Chartis is a leading healthcare consulting firm seeking a Program Director to lead end-to-end Epic implementations across healthcare organizations. You will partner with CIOs and senior leaders to drive scope, timeline, budget, risk, and quality, while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include executive governance, steering committee participation, and ensuring alignment across Epic teams. Remote work is allowed with travel as needed; salary range is $90-$110 per hour with potential

Qualifications

• 12+ years of healthcare consulting or healthcare IT experience with a deep focus on Epic deployments
• Proven experience as a Project Director or Program Director on large-scale Epic implementations
• Executive presence with experience engaging C-suite and senior leadership
• Flexibility to travel as required
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the overall program leader for end-to-end Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts across healthcare organizations
• Provide executive level leadership and governance, partnering with client executives (CIO, CMIO, CNIO, CFO, ops leaders)
• Lead end-to-end program delivery including scope, timeline, budget, risk management, and quality outcomes
• Provide leadership to junior staff and support development of their skills
• Participate in program governance structures including steering committees and reporting
• Identify risks and issues and drive mitigation and resolution with senior stakeholders
• Ensure alignment across Epic and internal client teams
• Support readiness activities including change management, training strategy, cutover planning, and go-live support
