Job summary

Epic Business Systems, Professional Billing Team, is seeking a seasoned analyst to define, troubleshoot, and solve software and system analysis tasks within the Epic Professional Billing ecosystem. The role includes build/maintenance of PB, support for billing/financial operations, and backup support for HB.

Leadership and strong communication are essential. Ideal candidates hold PB/SBO certification (primary) with PB Claims certification a plus, and should be prepared for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with business analysts, project leads, and IT teams to ensure service availability and issue resolution.
• Demonstrates understanding of technical aspects of applications and department workflows.
• Provides analysis and testing for new or upgraded systems and special projects.
• Participates in system design and process improvement projects, recommending operational improvements.
• Leads significant projects with minimal oversight and presents solutions to operations and IT teams.
• Assists departments in applications system management and maintains security for applications.
• Performs detailed end-user analysis to troubleshoot, develop new functionality, and improve workflows.
• Provides training and assistance to team members and new employees.
• On-call rotations and some off-hours project work.
• Performs other duties as required.
