Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Level II IT Systems Analyst to support Epic Professional Billing and revenue cycle applications across multiple facilities in the United States. You will analyze workflows, design, build, test, and maintain solutions within healthcare IT systems.

The role requires 3+ years in IT systems support, strong communication, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in applicable business area (clinical, operational or IT systems support).
• Proven ability to understand business issues and objectives and translate them into application solutions.
• Strong understanding in application technology and system design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Translates revenue cycle workflows into application and technology designs.
• Analyzes application release notes and technical specs to identify impact and opportunities; plans and executes on new functionality in upgrades.
• Evaluates current state processes and identifies gaps to future state goals related to IT application utilization.
• Manages assigned project tasks to stay on track with timelines; communicates risks and delays and escalates issues as appropriate.
• Communicates information to internal and external customers clearly and tactfully.
• Assists with defining, testing, and implementing interfaces with third party systems and end-to-end workflows around interfaces.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems and propose solutions.
• Participates in business continuity planning and disaster recovery measures.
• Participates in after-hours support On-Call rotation.
