Job summary
Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Epic Patient Access Consultant to drive optimization of Epic Revenue Cycle workflows and system configuration. This role supports clients remotely while traveling to project milestones as needed.
You will complete specifications for Epic builds, enhance real‑time eligibility processes, and collaborate with client IT teams to ensure successful implementations. A strong background in Epic modules and remote delivery is essential.
Qualifications
- Epic Prelude certification is required.
- Hands‑on Epic RTE experience is required.
- Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configuration, and optimization.
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for project milestones.
Responsibilities
- Support Epic Revenue Cycle workflow and system configuration optimization.
- Complete and/or develop specifications for Epic build and testing activities.
- Optimize Real‑Time Eligibility (RTE), including query chaining, benefit filing, and plan mapping.
- Support ASA table / Auto Status Assignment optimization for referrals.
- Assist with registration, authorization, and front‑end workflow enhancements and automation.
- Optimize patient and referral workqueues and related Revenue Cycle processes.
- Partner with client IT teams to support implementation and testing.
