Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Epic Consultant to join our Healthcare Transformation Services team. The role focuses on optimizing Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, RTE, and related configurations for health systems and hospitals across remote engagements.

The candidate will develop specifications for Epic builds and testing, enhance registration and front-end workflows, and collaborate with client IT teams to ensure successful implementations and testing. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

Epic Prelude certification required.
Hands-on Epic RTE experience required.
Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configuration, and optimization.
Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
Ability to travel up to 25% for project milestones.

Responsibilities

Support Epic Revenue Cycle workflow and system configuration optimization.
Complete and/or develop specifications for Epic build and testing activities.
Optimize Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), including query chaining, benefit filing, and plan mapping.
Support ASA table / Auto Status Assignment optimization for referrals.
Assist with registration, authorization, and front-end workflow enhancements and automation.
Optimize patient and referral workqueues and related Revenue Cycle processes.
Partner with client IT teams to support implementation and testing.
