Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Epic Patient Access Consultant to optimize Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configuration, and testing for healthcare systems. You will help clients improve registration, eligibility, and front-end workflows while delivering reliable, scalable solutions.

The role is remote with travel up to 25% to milestones, sits in Healthcare Transformation Services, and requires Epic Prelude and RTE certifications.

Qualifications

Epic Prelude certification is required.
Hands-on Epic RTE experience is required.
Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configuration, and optimization.

Responsibilities

Support Epic Revenue Cycle workflow and system configuration optimization.
Complete and/or develop specifications for Epic build and testing activities.
Optimize Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), including query chaining, benefit filing, and plan mapping.
Support ASA table / Auto Status Assignment optimization for referrals.
Assist with registration, authorization, and front-end workflow enhancements and automation.
Optimize patient and referral workqueues and related Revenue Cycle processes.
Partner with client IT teams to support implementation and testing.
