Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Crestview Hills, KY seeks an Application Coordinator to support Acute Care Epic Applications (OpTime). Mon-Fri, days, hybrid reporting. You will act as primary support contact, resolve tickets, manage change control, coordinate software updates, and ensure 24-hour coverage for system users.

Responsibilities include evaluating new functionality, maintaining vendor relations, and mentoring junior staff while aligning with clinical and financial department processes.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a clinical or financial healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree may be waived if the candidate has four or more years of certification and experience supporting the applicable application. (Senior)
• Two to four years of certified Epic experience supporting an Epic or other applicable application.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary support contact for Epic Applications. Resolves tickets promptly and maintains high customer feedback.
• Establishes and manages change control procedures for the application. Prioritize and implement changes requested for the system.
• Participate in providing 24 hour coverage for system users. Troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and maintain optimal system use.
• Analyze new functionality in software releases to determine applicability and coordinate updates with users and vendor.
• Manage the business relationship with stakeholders to plan and develop/enhance system functionality.
• Participate in projects, work independently to meet timelines, and use project management methods to resolve issues.
• Develop and document internal procedures; assist with training materials; mentor staff.
