Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an experienced Application Analyst and Developer to support Epic MyChart and related patient engagement solutions, including online scheduling, telehealth, and digital check-in.

The role analyzes requirements, implements changes, and may provide technical leadership. It supports hospital and clinic deployments, Epic upgrades, and patient experience initiatives, reporting to a Senior Manager, IT Care Delivery Systems. Remote-friendly with some onsite time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Business Admin, MIS, or equivalent.
3 years of IT analysis, application support, systems development, or related healthcare technology role, ideally supporting Epic MyChart.
Experience coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application changes.
Working knowledge of XML, CSS, .NET, SQL or similar technologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, systems integration, and application architecture.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and documentation experience.
Experience participating in full project lifecycle from requirements to implementation and support.
Knowledge of multiple SDLC methodologies and best practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Analyzes functional and technical requirements and develops system designs and technical solutions.
Configures, tests, deploys, and supports application functionality meeting requirements.
Performs unit testing and supports system, integration, and end-user testing with test scripts and data.
Diagnoses failures, troubleshoots issues, and implements corrective actions.
Develops technical specifications and collaborates with partners to evaluate options and priorities.
Supports third-party software and coordinates vendor upgrades and installations.
Promotes process improvements and best practices for reliability and performance.
Provides technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to team members.
Supports audits by providing documentation and participating in interviews.
