Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor for Epic IT Revenue Cycle to oversee the HB workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and ongoing support. You will partner with Revenue Cycle Operations and IT teams to ensure changes meet business needs and follow change control standards.

The role includes staff development, performance management, and ensuring timely completion of requests and deliverables within a healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major coursework in computer science, math, information systems, or related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 years of IT experience with Bachelor's; or 8 years with HS diploma

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements software applications or upgrades; serves as context expert for the application
• Monitors project scope, timelines, and deliverables; provides status reports
• Tests new applications and changes; trains system users and documents test scenarios
• Leads other analysts; develops implementation plans and proposals for projects
• Develops admin procedures for new system functionality and ensures regulatory compliance
• Maintains on-call coverage to support clinical systems; tracks time for cost recovery
