Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Epic Database Administrator to manage InterSystems Cache/IRIS databases for Epic EHR environments. You will ensure production stability, disaster recovery readiness, and support cloud-based architectures with a focus on high availability and performance.

You will collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams, perform upgrades, implement automation, and maintain runbooks to sustain reliable Epic operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IS or related field.
• Epic ODBA or Epic IRIS certification required.
• Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize InterSystems Cache/IRIS databases for Epic environments.
• Configure environments for production, DR, training, and reporting.
• Monitor and tune performance across production/non-production systems.
