Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Epic Database Administrator to oversee InterSystems Cache/IRIS databases supporting Epic EHR environments. You will ensure stability across production, DR, and reporting systems while guiding cloud-based Epic architectures.

The role requires Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting, and ITIL familiarity, with hands-on Epic IRIS/ODBA certifications and Azure migration experience. Work schedule is weekday daytime hours in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Epic ODBA or Epic IRIS certification required.
• Epic training and certifications listed in-job description provide strong foundation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize InterSystems Cache/IRIS databases supporting Epic environments.
• Configure and manage ODB environments for production, DR, training, and reporting.
• Monitor and tune performance across production and non-production systems.
