Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst to gather requirements, design, build, test and support Epic and related systems remotely. The role includes coordinating project plans, leading meetings and ensuring changes are validated and deployed in production.

On-call rotation and vendor coordination are part of the responsibilities. Qualifications include an Associate's degree or 2 years of IT/healthcare experience, and Epic certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of organization, users and workflow in the assigned area.
• Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, manage issues and oversee project plans.
• Probes for underlying needs to influence system design and configuration.
• Thoroughly reviews, tests and follows change control for system changes.
• Assists with development, implementation, education and maintenance of Epic and related apps.
• Creates training materials and communicates updates to leadership and users.
• Maintains Epic user accounts; participates in webinars and testing vendor-provided software.
• Maintains relationships with Epic partners and vendors; participates in product demos and webinars.
• Coordinates and completes assigned projects with defined tasks and deadlines; performs related work.
• Trains and mentors team members and adheres to organizational competencies.

Responsibilities
