Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Epic Inpatient Clinical Application Manager to lead Epic teams through implementation, optimization, testing, and go-live planning. The role involves supervising analysts, coordinating with project leaders, and ensuring production readiness and ongoing support for Epic applications.

The position requires a Bachelor's (Master's preferred) in IT/healthcare fields, 6+ years in clinical IT, and 3+ years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare administration, clinical informatics, business administration, computer science, nursing, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in clinical/IT with EHR, app support, informatics, or healthcare operations.
• 3+ years of management experience preferred; leadership of IT teams preferred.
• Epic certifications or proficiencies preferred; PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Experience leading Epic implementations, upgrades, and governance; IT service management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic application teams through implementation, optimization, testing, go-live planning and ongoing support.
• Directly supervise Epic application analysts, including assignments, performance, development, and hiring support.
• Coordinate activities with project directors, managers, and technical teams to ensure integrated delivery.
• Oversee device: upgrade, issue management, risk, change control, and readiness for production.
• Ensure builds, workflows, testing, validation, and production support meet standards.
