Job summary

Avera Health is seeking an Informatics Analyst to support the Epic system in outpatient spaces across the organization. You will collaborate with clinicians, operations, and IT to assess workflows, translate needs into system solutions, and ensure compliant, efficient documentation.

You will serve as a key liaison between end users and information systems, participate in testing and deployment, and provide on-call support to ensure high-quality patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Active nursing or allied health licenses in the practice state.
• Experience supporting clinical information systems is preferred.
• Ability to translate clinical needs into system configurations.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of clinical information systems and workflows.
• Collaborates with users, IT staff, and vendor support to resolve issues.
• Plans, tests, and implements new functionality in clinical systems.
• Keeps training materials up to date and supports end users.
• Participates in quality improvement programs and cost-effective practices.
