Job summary

Avera Health seeks an IT Systems Support Specialist to provide basic support for multi-user operating systems and the Epic Beacon application for Oncology and infusion services. This on-site role requires residency within the Avera footprint and regular daytime hours with on-call involvement across the United States.

You will work with clinical and IT teams to install, configure, maintain, and support systems, driving quality improvements and cost-friendly practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with others and work in a team.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Two years related experience and/or training; software-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of information systems and workflows; collaborates with users and IT teams to solve issues.
• Participates in planning, design, and testing of new functionality and system updates.
• Researches, configures, and maintains operating systems, applications, and hardware to support EHR systems.
• Maintains and provides user training materials; contributes to quality improvement programs.
• Supports project implementations, upgrades, and enhancements across the organization.
