Job summary

Chartis Group is seeking a Business Process Consultant with Epic HB Claims leadership to join our Revenue Cycle Transformation Practice. You will design and implement end-to-end claims solutions, optimize workflows, and align HB Claims with organizational goals through close collaboration with executives, IT, and billing ops.

Responsibilities include workflow design, system configuration, performance improvement, denial prevention, stakeholder collaboration, and KPI-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of revenue cycle leadership or consulting experience.
• Active Epic HB Claims certification required.
• Experience improving KPIs in claims management and denial reduction.
• Ability to bridge technical configuration with operational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Workflow Analysis and Design: evaluate current HB Claims workflows and design future-state processes.
• System Configuration and Build: advise on HB Claims module configuration and, when needed, build changes.
• Claims Performance Optimization: analyze clean claim rate, denial rate, DNFB/DNFC, A/R days, and cash flow.
• Denial Prevention and Resolution Strategy: implement denial prevention frameworks and standardize categorization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: partner with billing ops, coding, CDI, compliance, and IT.
• Optimization and Reporting: monitor KPIs and lead reporting efforts using Clarity, Caboodle, and Reporting Workbench.
• Testing and Validation: guide unit/integrated/UAT testing and validate features.
