Job summary

Fitness Connection in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Front Desk Hospitality teammate to create an EPIC welcome for members and guests and support club operations. This part-time role focuses on friendly check-ins, guest registrations, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Team members will participate in the EPIC Training Program, handle front desk duties, assist with club services, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that makes every member feel valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous experience in Hospitality/Customer Service preferred.
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and effectively communicate.
• Must be able to interpret business communications including personal training contracts and pricing packages.
• Teammate must have excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and move around gym surroundings.
• Move quickly between work areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage members with EPIC greetings & farewells.
• Check members into the gym using proper procedures.
• Register guests into the gym using proper procedures.
• Answer the telephone promptly with Fitness Connection verbiage.
• Assist with routing Telephone Inquiries (TI) appropriately.
• Direct guests to the appropriate Fitness Consultant in a prompt, professional manner.
• Serve as a communication hub for members, guests and teammates.
• Promote and sell drinks, bars, supplements and merchandise in ProShop.
• Stock & organize retail offerings; meet daily/monthly goals.
• Operate POS & money handling procedures.
• Complete opening & closing duties; keep the front desk neat and organized.
