Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Educator to lead EPIC EMR initiatives for Home Care and Hospice. You will provide orientation, training, and ongoing support to clinical staff while evaluating workflows and optimizing documentation practices.

The role collaborates with clinical, operational, and IT teams to improve user adoption and patient care quality, leveraging your NY licensure and EMR expertise.

Qualifications

• Current clinical license and registration in NYS as an RN or PT.
• Ability to interpret statistical data, conduct in-service training, and educate large groups.
• Advanced EMR proficiency; EPIC experience preferred.
• Masters in Clinical Informatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, optimize, and support the EPIC EMR for Home Care and Hospice.
• Provide EPIC orientation, training, and ongoing end-user support to clinical staff.
• Evaluate system functionality and workflows and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to enhance documentation practices and adoption.
• Support quality patient care through better documentation and workflows.
