Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking an Electronic Health Record Specialist to coordinate training and development for the Franciscan Medical Group, focusing on maximizing EHR utilization across ambulatory care.

The role requires training experience on IS platforms or EHRs, strong communication, and the ability to obtain EPIC credentialing within 90 days of hire. Serve diverse clinical teams with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience training on IS platforms/applications, clinical, or EHR; or teaching experience; Associate's Degree substitutes for 1 year, Bachelor's substitutes for 2 years.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively with diverse personalities; strong presentation and communication skills.
• Must Obtain EPIC Credentialing within 90 days of Hire.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities to leverage technology to improve efficiency and quality of work within the FMOLHS Franciscan Medical Group.
• Trains providers and clinical staff on effective and efficient utilization of the electronic medical record.
• Develops and evaluates policies and procedures defining the scope of services related to patient care processes and EMR utilization.
• Maintains high integrity and professionalism with clinic staff and shares medical data in full compliance with corporate policies.
• Conducts research into medical and operational issues impacting providers, staff and patients.
