Job summary

East Hawaii Medical Group (EHMG) in Hawaii seeks an EHR Systems Analyst to lead Epic implementations and support across clinical, billing, and operational teams. You will work with Epic representatives, IT staff, and leadership to align projects with regulatory and organizational goals.

Responsibilities include system design, configuration, testing, maintenance, and end-user training. Travel to East Hawaii facilities is expected when needed for go-lives and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, healthcare informatics or related field preferred.
• Epic certification required or employer-sponsored training available.
• Experience with clinical or billing workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic implementations aligning with goals and regulatory needs.
• Design, configure, and test EHR applications to meet clinical needs.
• Collaborate with Epic reps, IT, clinicians, physicians, and leadership on plans.
• Assist with non-Epic EHR app implementations.
• Analyze, design, implement, and support Epic systems and apps.
• Troubleshoot Epic-related issues and perform maintenance.
• Deliver training and create documentation for Epic usage.
• Generate reports to monitor system performance and improvements.
• Lead project planning and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate cross-functional milestones and timelines.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data protection standards.
• Identify workflow improvements for efficiency and patient care.
• Participate in meetings representing Epic workflows and orders.
