Job summary

East Hawaii Medical Group (EHMG) in Hilo, Hawaii seeks a Senior Epic BI Developer to lead analytics engineering and Epic reporting initiatives. You will build and optimize Epic and downstream BI workflows, mentor BI staff, and serve as the technical lead for BI operations, upgrades, and governance.

You will collaborate across data teams to ensure data quality, performance, and reliable analytics products in the East Hawaii Region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience in analytics engineering, BI development, or technical systems support.
• 5+ years direct experience with Epic reporting tools such as Clarity, Chronicles, Caboodle.
• Epic Certifications in Cogito Fundamentals, Clarity & Caboodle Data Models.
• Additional certifications in Epic revenue cycle or clinical applications highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for BI support and analytics platform performance.
• Develop, validate, and optimize Epic and downstream BI workflows and reports.
• Own development lifecycle from requirements through deployment and governance.
• Mentor BI developers and maintain documentation and standards.
• Optimize backend workflows and support data consumers with issue resolution.
