Job summary

The City and County of San Francisco’s Department of Public Health seeks an Onsite Epic-Certified Ancillary Apps Manager. The role leads Epic applications, collaborates with analysts, and ensures integration and performance across the public health EHR ecosystem.

Responsibilities include supervising IS Business Analysts, translating requirements into builds, and coordinating testing and deployment for Epic modules within a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Epic certification required.
• Associate degree or equivalent with total 60+ credits in CS/IS/BA or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct guidance and supervision of IS Business Analysts.
• Support design, implementation, and optimization of the Epic EHR across SFDPH systems.
• Collect requirements from departments, clinicians, health workers, vendors, and customers.
• Translate functional requirements into application builds within a multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with diverse clients and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain system configuration and build parameters for modules.
• Use analysis to solve issues in applications.
• Lead small projects and manage Epic integrations and testing.
