Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Senior Epic Application Analyst to advance the functionality and efficiency of Epic applications. You’ll analyze, design, configure, and implement Epic modules, ensure workflow integration, and provide advanced user support and training.

This role reports to an ISD manager or above. Responsibilities include translating needs into technical solutions, supporting complex problems, and leading others, with after-hours support on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required.
• Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System.
• Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required.
• Experience in supporting complex problems.
• Experience in assisting other Analysts.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools and methodologies.
• Good analytical skills and technical aptitude.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Good communication, collaboration and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead others.

Responsibilities

• Translates user and department Epic system needs into technical solutions.
• Performs project reviews and process walk throughs incorporating technical, clinical and business solutions that will enhance user productivity and department service levels.
