Job summary

Ohio Department of Behavioral Health seeks an Epic Cogito Analyst to lead analytics design, reporting infrastructure, and data integrity across the Epic ecosystem. Build, configure, and optimize Cogito tools including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and dashboards to support clinical, operational, and financial reporting needs.

Qualifications

• 60 mos. combined work experience in any combination of requirements defined and approved.
• 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description.
• Or completion of associate core program in computer science.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, configures, tests, and maintains Epic Cogito applications including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, dashboards, and enterprise analytics infrastructure.
• Analyzes reporting workflows and data requests with staff; translates requirements into Cogito builds and dashboards.
• Configures reporting environments and data access controls ensuring HIPAA and privacy policy compliance.
• Coordinates with Epic teams to ensure source system build reflected in outputs; performs data validation and troubleshooting.
• Manages change lifecycle for Cogito upgrades/releases; troubleshoots issues and escalates as needed.
• Builds and maintains Reporting Workbench templates, SlicerDicer models, and Radar dashboards.
• Collaborates with clinicians and compliance to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Coordinates data interfaces to assess impact on reporting accuracy and troubleshoot data flows.
• Maintains documentation and acts as liaison across IT and business units.
