Job summary

The Epic Cogito Analyst (Software Development Specialist 3) at the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health leads analytics design, reporting infrastructure, and data integrity across the Epic Cogito ecosystem.

You will build, configure, and optimize Cogito tools, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, dashboards, and enterprise analytics environments to support clinical, operational, and financial reporting needs.

Qualifications

• 60+ months combined work experience in defining requirements and performing code reviews, ensuring development standards are met.
• Associate core program in computer science or information systems with at least 42 months relevant work experience.
• Undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems with at least 36 months relevant work experience.
• Official transcripts and background check required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Cogito applications including Reporting Workbench and SlicerDicer.
• Analyze data requests and translate requirements into Cogito configurations and dashboards.
• Ensure data privacy and HIPAA compliance in reporting environments.
• Manage full change lifecycle for Cogito upgrades and new implementations.
