Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Coding Management Assistant to coordinate coding and charging activities under minimal supervision. You will manage Epic work queues, investigate updates, and support coding and billing workflows.

You will serve as HIM Epic Super-user, collaborate with Epic analysts, test upgrades, and help coordinate appeals, denials, and rebills while maintaining complex Excel reports.

Qualifications

• 3 years advanced knowledge of billing and coding workflow, procedures, and departmental processes

Responsibilities

• Reviews dashboards and reports to identify needs and report to coding leadership.
• Monitors work queues and escalates items based on identified needs.
• Processes, records, and trends data.
• Monitors, triages, enters and tracks IT tickets.
• Coordinates with other departments to resolve missing documentation and ensure timely billing of visits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
