Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Coding Coordinator to assist Coding Management in coordinating coding and charging activities, managing Epic work queues, and supporting updates and corrections. You will work with Epic analysts and the 3M encoder to ensure accurate billing.

Responsibilities include reviewing dashboards, monitoring work queues, processing data trends, triaging IT tickets, and coordinating with other departments to resolve missing documentation for timely visits

Qualifications

• 3 years advanced knowledge of billing and coding workflow, procedures, and departmental processes

Responsibilities

• Reviews dashboards and reports to identify needs for coding leadership (30%)
• Continuously monitors work queues and escalates items as needed (30%)
• Processes, records, and trends data (10%)
• Monitors, triages, enters and tracks IT tickets (15%)
• Coordinates with other departments to resolve missing documentation and ensure timely billing of visits (5%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required (10%)
