Job summary

Children’s Nebraska is seeking a healthcare IT professional to design, implement and support hospital and outpatient Epic applications. You will collaborate with clinics and departments to configure systems, translate workflows and ensure end-user success.

The role requires an associate degree in IT/healthcare (bachelor's preferred), 2+ years IT/healthcare experience, and Epic experience with certification achievable within 9 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or higher in IT/healthcare; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years IT/healthcare experience preferred.
• Epic clinical application experience preferred.
• Previous systems super user or trainer experience preferred.
• Must obtain EPIC certification within 9 months of hire and maintain it during employment.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement and maintain hospital and/or outpatient clinical IT applications.
• Analyze, design, configure, test and maintain clinical applications to meet end-user needs.
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions and build docs per policy.
• Build relationships with customers through clear/consistent communication.
• Participate in project teams to define requirements and optimize workflows.
• Translate workflow requirements into efficient application solutions.
• Perform integrated testing of current and new vendor functionality for reliability and integrity.
• Provide end-user training and development as needed.
