Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking an Entry-level Application Analyst I to join our IT team in Palo Alto. The role focuses on implementing, administering, and supporting Epic modules and ancillary systems, with a developmental path toward Application Analyst II over 2–3 years.

You will gain foundational experience in incident resolution, upgrades, and cross-team collaboration while building AI literacy and workflow knowledge in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, CS, Health Administration, or related field.
• Five years healthcare or general office experience may substitute for degree.
• No prior healthcare IT experience required; internship or help desk experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-2 support for application incidents via help desk.
• Monitor production applications daily.
• Troubleshoot, support, and maintain applications during assigned shift.
• Assist in low-complexity tool and workflow implementations.
• Participate in testing for new implementations and upgrades.
• Document routine workflows and support activities.
