Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Typically 6 months to 1 year of administrative experience.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and visits in multiple outpatient clinics using the EPIC system.
• Coordinate provider schedules (master schedules, daily templates, clinic closures).
• Provide back-up for outpatient scheduling departments and perform scheduling maintenance functions.
• Serve as intermediary between patients, frontline staff and nursing personnel on scheduling concerns.
• Communicate scheduling policies to other schedulers and collaborate to improve processes.
