Job summary

KAISER PERMANENTE in Portland, Oregon seeks a Systems Administrator III with Epic ClinDoc certification to support Epic ClinDoc administration, configuration, optimization, implementation, testing, maintenance, and application support. The role partners with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure high-quality care through reliable EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years experience working with EPIC or comparable health system software OR Minimum two (2) years scripting or programming experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care or related field and Minimum three (3) years working in IT or operations.

Responsibilities

• Supports stability, availability, and performance of enterprise systems by monitoring systems to identify problems, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provides first and second level support for enterprise systems by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex incidents.
• Defines and tests maintenance and refresh activities.
• Participates in installation, upgrade, or decommissioning of designated systems, products, and infrastructure.
• Assists with application-oriented administration and technical support for production and non-production environments.
