Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking an Epic Application Analyst specializing in ClinDoc to support healthcare information systems in the Houston area. The role focuses on Epic build, configuration, testing, optimization, implementation, and ongoing support while partnering with clinical and operational teams.

The position requires analyzing user needs, configuring Epic, supporting upgrades, and troubleshooting workflows.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of work experience with Epic Build (required).
Current Epic Certification (required).
Experience with Epic ClinDoc (required).
Experience with project ownership of Epic Applications (required).
Ability to participate in rotating 24/7 on-call coverage (required).

Responsibilities

Analyze user needs and translate requests into Epic application solutions.
Perform Epic build, configuration, testing, and optimization.
Support Epic implementations and system upgrades.
Maintain and optimize assigned Epic applications.
Manage application support issues and ticket queues.
Troubleshoot clinical workflow and documentation issues.
Develop and deploy queries, reports and other business solutions in Epic and related systems.
Maintain technical knowledge of assigned applications.
Help users optimize their use of Epic applications.
Provide training, support and problem resolution to users.
Participate in project work and application implementations.
Develop options and recommendations when system issues are identified.
Participate in after-hours application support through a rotating on-call schedule.
