Job summary

KAISER Permanente Pasadena is seeking a Charge Master Analyst to ensure accurate CDM and pricing in the Epic environment. The role partners with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Coding, and IT to implement pricing updates, charge capture optimization, and revenue integrity initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have Epic Resolute/Charge Router experience, knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, and strong analytical skills to support regulatory compliance and charge integrity efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• Minimum two years of experience in medical coding/billing (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field AND minimum five years of experience in revenue cycle, pricing, charge description/fee schedule development, claims billing, or a directly related field OR minimum eight years of experience in revenue cycle, pricing, charge description/fee schedule development, claims billing, or a directly related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex charge guidelines into codes for accurate billing.
• Review and maintain CPT/HCPCS codes, descriptions, and fee schedules.
• Monitor and improve charge capture, compliance, and policy adherence.
• Provide guidance on coding/billing issues to physicians and departments.
