Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an Applications Analyst III who supervises staff and provides technical guidance in developing specifications for new or revised systems. You will coordinate with other IT sections, mentor analysts, and act as a project lead on complex initiatives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 5 years IT experience, and Epic Cadence Certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Five years of solid, diverse work experience in IT
Epic Cadence Certification and experience required

Responsibilities

Has full technical knowledge of applications analysis and has supervisory duties of instructing, assigning, directing and checking the work of the other Applications Analysts.
Assists in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the section.
May work with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation process.
Coordinates the activities of the section with other IT sections (e.g., database, telecommunications, operations, technical support).
Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
Assists in all levels of supervision and may perform management function in the absence of the Manager.
May act as a project leader.
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
