Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school degree acceptable with relevant experience.
• Billing certifications (CPC/CPMA/CRC/CCS/CDEO) preferred or required.
• Experience coding for FQHC, Medicaid, and Medicare billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and code patient charts using CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS rules.
• Submit insurance claims accurately to maximize reimbursement.
• Interact with physicians to clarify documentation and coding.
• Resolve daily work queues for research, follow-up, or resubmission.
• Prepare regular billing performance reports for leadership.
