Job summary

OCHIN, Inc. is a 100% remote health IT nonprofit based in Oregon, hiring a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and reporting across Epic Cogito and Cogito build elements.

The role requires strong SQL and data modeling skills and interaction with members and vendors. The position collaborates across the BI team to deliver reliable data solutions and supports the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, QA, and

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum five years of experience with complex SQL development.
Current Epic Clarity Data Model certification.
Minimum 3 years of experience with custom development within the Epic Cogito suite.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain database objects and complex SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data integration needs.
Develop custom reporting solutions within Epic Hyperspace, including Reporting Workbench and Cogito SQL reports, Radar dashboards, and Cogito build elements.
Execute the full reporting lifecycle: design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Lead sessions with OCHIN members, vendors, and staff to design and develop technical solutions for reporting and analytics.
