Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field with two years healthcare support experience required.
- Epic certification in area of support or certification obtained within 12 weeks of completing Epic training with no more than two testing attempts required.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate business needs; gather requirements with stakeholders.
- Provide data through visualization and documentation to analyze system functionality and evaluate new requests.
- Follow change control processes to develop, test and implement planned changes.
- Maintain thorough and accurate technical and functional documentation; review peer docs.
- Evaluate system performance and mitigate risk related to Epic system operations.
- Stay current on Epic certifications and industry best practices.
- Perform on-call duties and provide user support 24/7; ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance and security by following HIPAA and other regulations; participate in annual training.
