As an Epic Beaker Systems Analyst II at Duly Health and Care, you will play a critical role in configuring and optimizing our integrated Epic electronic medical record system. You’ll balance daily issue resolution with impactful project work in an environment that values structure, autonomy, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities- Configure, test, document, and deploy Epic Beaker system changes in alignment with clinical and operational goals
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Beaker functionality, interfacing regularly with lab and IT stakeholders
- Manage and resolve break/fix incidents and service requests related to Epic Beaker in a timely and structured fashion
- Develop and maintain workflows, documentation, and configuration standards to support system continuity
- Participate in integrated testing across Epic modules to ensure functionality in an enterprise-wide environment
- Collaborate with other Epic analysts and developers to support application enhancements, upgrades, and optimization efforts
- Independently manage small to medium-sized projects or support larger initiatives led by senior Epic team members
- Analyze data trends, identify system improvement opportunities, and present recommendations using logical, evidence-based reasoning
- Ensure system changes meet compliance, validation, and documentation standards, especially related to laboratory data and reporting
- Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed for high-priority issues or upgrades
QualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of Epic application support or analysis experience, preferably with Epic Beaker (required)
- Epic Beaker Certification (Preferred: CP and AP) other Epic Certifications
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations, workflows, and regulatory standards
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performing, matrixed environment
- Experience with integrated Epic systems and understanding of downstream impact to modules such as AMB, Results Routing, and MyChart
- Exceptional analytical, documentation, and communication skills — with a bias for thoughtful execution and system integrity
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $73,399-$110,098 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
